Beaudesert Junior Draft 2009 - 4th place |
'Jondel Miss Rivoli' is
by Jondel Rivoli Wonder out of Northbrook Miss Pistol (Mr Pistol). She is a half sister to 'Remick Xena' and 'Remick
Enforcer' and is the last foal out of the old mare before she passed away.
She is currently being ridden by our 8yo son, Michael and they
came 4th in their second campdraft.
She is now FOR SALE

'Forever Knight' - our newest addition |
'Forever Knight' - Was purchased
at the Silverdale Horse Sale in February, 2006. He originated from the same property as 'Marley' and 'Sophie'.
He was purchased as a colt and has since been gelded.
Our then 12yo started his breaking process, but dad
had to finish. He had limited work at the Silverdale Sale Yards and is being ridden by our 10yo son, Eric. He
has been purchased to be sold in approximately a further 12 months time.
SOLD!!! To a lovely family who are using
him for pleasure riding and pony club.
This mare was sent to us to be ridden so she could
be sold. My husband was impressed with her from the first ride. While practising on our pony 'Miss Mouse' she
ended up reading her better than Rick and nearly lost him twice!!! We purchased her without knowing any of her breeding
or where she originally came from. For stock horse enthusiasts, she looks like a classic 'Remedy' type, we are hopeful.
Her name? What else but 'K-Sera'.
This gorgeous beauty is a recent addition 'Remick Crystal'.
We do not know a lot about her. Parentage is unknown and estimate her age to be between 6 and 8 years. She stands
13.1 hands and is very feminine and petite. She has been ridden off and on at the Silverdale Sale yards over the last 9
months and our 11yo son has ridden her mustering. In fact, our just turned 7yo son just rode her on the 33rd Annual
Anzac Day Trail Ride here in Rosevale. He may have started on a lead line, but he finished riding her himself!!!!
SOLD!!!! To a lovely lady
in the Cairns area.
'Remick Enforcer' |
|
Enforcer is currently for sale |
'Remick Enforcer' is a 7yo gelding that we bred with
our previous stallion 'My Rex'. Rick has been having a ball on him campdrafting. He won his Maiden and first Novice
in 2003 and followed that up with another Novice in 2004. In less than 12 starts he has won 3 and placed in another
2 or 3!!!!!
ENFORCER is now back up for sale....please refer the sales page.
SOLD!!!! To a working cattle property where a 60+ yo woman is riding him mustering.
Rick Brown riding 'Mariah' |
|
'Mariah' is a 8yo mare also by our previous
stallion 'My Rex'. She hurt herself a couple of years ago and is now being used as a Brood Mare. Her first 'Vet
School Dowsett' foal will be reg'd 1st cross and is the quietest foal we have ever had. He could be caught, handled
and have a halter put on from day one. He looks for your company. 'Mariah' had a filly foal again to 'Vet
School Dowsett' but this foal went to Jeff and Nadine Lucas of Rosevale who were unable to breed their own mare successfully.
This filly is a cracker!!! 'Mariah' is back in foal again to 'Vet School Dowsett' but.....
We have given Mariah back to Tom Dunning, the man that bred her.
We will breed with her again another day.
Phillip & 'Silver', 2nd at Boonah Show Draft 2004 |
|
Our 4 year old son Michael on 'Silver' |
|
We purchased 'Silver' at a local horse sale 7 years
ago. He has become a very important part of our family. Our 11, 6 and 4 year old boys can all ride him solo.
He is as quiet as we could wish for. Our eldest son has drafted him for several years and his highlight was this second
at 'Boonah Show Draft' in 2004. 'Silver' is a great lead pony for Trail Rides and has been used by another
local stud to give riding lessons. He is a member of our family, I doubt that we would ever let him go.
My Rex' won at Beaudesert as a stallion |
|
Michael on 'Goldie' formerly 'My Rex' |
|
This is our nephew Michael riding 'Goldie'. 'Goldie' is our
old stallion 'My Rex' the sire of 'Remick Enforcer' and 'Mariah'. 'My Rex' won his maiden at Beaudesert as a stallion.
He has now been gelded and as you can see is being successfully campaigned in the Monto area in Juvenile Drafts. His
progeny didn't mature until they were around 4. If we knew that then, he would probably still be a stallion today.
This is 'Remick Li'l Jess' who is out of the same mare
as 'Remick Bronson'. She is by Gary Sherlock's Mr Jessie James colt which unfortunately he had to have euthanised.
She is Rick's current pride and joy and is a beautifully natured mare. She was broken in at 18 months as she was nearly
15hh then. Jessie has scored on several occassions in the local drafts.
SOLD!!!! To Katheryn in the Longreach area to be used for
mustering, drafting and later in her breeding programme. She is with 'Remick Enforcer'.
'Remick Xena' is named after the butch warrior
princess that doesn't know she is female. It is the perfect name and none would suit better. This mare won her
Maiden campdraft on her 3rd start and has placed in Novices. 'Remick Xena's Folly' was her first foal. She half
sister to our main campdraft winner 'Remick Enforcer' on the dam side. When drafting season resumes, she will
come in from her holiday in the paddock and hop back into training.
Introducing TUCKER, he is a lovely
pony and is very strong, he can work at the yards all day and not break a sweat.
TUCKER got his name because one day, Rick
just happened to mention that he sure did like his 'Tucker'. You can't half tell, can you??
TUCKER is now for sale, refer the sales page. SOLD!!!!!

Cattle Camp mare 'Lucky Diana' |
Introducing 'Lucky Diana', she is
a Cattle Camp mare that was bred by the prestigeous Vet School in Brisbane. Her mother, 'Vet School Bridget', was sold
with a colt at foot and in foal with Diana. We entered her in a couple of shows as a 3yo. Her first show at Rosewood,
she received 2 firsts and a second. Not bad huh? At 4 years of age she managed to chip her fetlock joint and has
not been ridden since. 'Lucky Diana' is the mother of 'Remick Gadget', 'Remick Camp Rivolette', 'Topview Donny', 'Remick
Inara', 'Remick Rookie' and finally, 'Remick Double D'.
